We all have our God given gifts in life. If we don't share that with others and if we aren't willing to receive what others have to share with us, we are going nowhere.
I wish to continue to grow OSC to where it has a global footprint. This is my third semester contributing towards this project and I have seen the fantastic potential it has to make an impact.
I wish to apply the training and thinking that architecture has provided me. Joining together with the team to help those around the world gain better lives as well as gain from them what they have so that our lives can be bettered as well. No one has it all figured out. We're in this together.

I joined this IPRO because I like that the project is giving those less fortunate to do things to better their communities and those around them. I also joined for the technological part of the project that is going to be used as a medium for the overall project.

Because I have been blessed with the life I have been given and with the place I was born. I have had the ability to get a good education and I want to be able to use this to help those that were not as blessed as I have been. My main goal is to use what I know to help others and to learn from them as much as they learn from me.

I wanted to see what it takes to help design a building/structure from minimum resources and make it great despite the limitations. Also, helping people is always a good reason to do something.

As I worked with the originator to develop the problem statement, I was encouraged by the commitment and passion of the team that began to develop around the idea. It was encouraging to see a group of students interested in helping impoverished communities and in a real way. I have seen the potential in the idea and am encouraged everyday as progress is made toward providing a real, working approach to improving the lives of others.
